Vali Myers Appreciation and Information

I'm thinking about getting a new tattoo, and I'd like it to be Vali themed or inspired if you get what I mean. Does anyone have suggestions? It's a vague concept at best so far, so I'd like to hear any thoughts you have.

Ideas I'm kicking around so far are:

Some of the small animal figures that occur in one or two of her paintings, possibly with a background from the paintings also - not a specific one, more 'in the style of'. I'm thinking of this as an ankle/leg piece.

Choosing a particular painting, or part of one (this could take forever, I'm not good at decisions!)and working with my tattooist to turn it into a half-sleeve. Or maybe working up the sleeve design from bits of a few paintings?

A design based on Vali's signature, and possibly her facial tattoos - again, I'm seeing this as an ankle/calf design. Mostly because I want one there next:) Or, a straight text tattoo - there's a letter she wrote & signed 'Meet me in loving again, Vali' that's online; that's a lovely quote & it would be in her handwriting, which feels like a nice idea.

Yays, nays, opinions?

a lot of her pieces depict very interesting sleeve-work. tight, geometrical with sunburst/flower-type images. any of those could be adapted well. they'd be pretty intense.

Yeah, March Hare is top of my list - I have kind of a thing for rabbits anyway.

I hadn't really looked at Black Sun too closely for some reason, thanks - will go back to it. That one has the really fullsleeved shirt in it, yeah? Sleeve-work adapted from the pattern on a sleeve is a good idea, in a kind of punny way...I'm also really drawn to the dog-figures in Tooth of the Hound for some odd reason, but I'm not really a dog person at all!
